What is MAR 2.0 and how does it relate to my current Sunrise Dental Solutions (SDS) services?
- MAR 2.0 is an integral and updated tool for practice data tracking that remains a core component of your regular SDS services. This enhanced version builds upon the original MAR system with improved analytics capabilities, streamlined data collection, and more intuitive reporting features specifically designed for dental practice management.
- MAR 2.0 continues to provide the comprehensive practice insights you've come to rely on, including performance metrics, patient flow analysis, and revenue tracking—all while maintaining seamless integration with your existing SDS workflow.
- MAR 2.0 is included in your membership subscription, as it represents our commitment to continuously improving the tools and services included in your standard SDS package. The upgrade ensures you have access to the most current and effective practice management technology available.
How much does DentaMAR cost and when do I reach my Reward Recovery Point?
- Early Adopters pay $600/month ($7,200/year) with lifetime price protection. Based on projections, you'll reach your 'Reward Recovery Point' in Year 4, when cumulative Crown rewards match your subscription costs. After that, all rewards are pure surplus.
Are the Crown reward projections guaranteed?
- No. DentaMAR explicitly states that Annual Crown Gifts 'depend on company performance and are not guaranteed.' However, you'll have access to a real-time dashboard showing actual company performance and Crown value.
What happens to my Crowns if I cancel my subscription?
- You keep your vested Crowns and continue receiving Annual Crown Gifts on them. However, you forfeit any unvested Crowns. Alternatively, you can transfer your Crowns to a qualified dental professional who takes over the subscription.
Is this a good commitment for a million-dollar practice?
- The $7,200 annual cost represents only 0.72% of a $1M practice revenue. If DentaMAR delivers the claimed operational improvements in decision-making and efficiency, it could be worthwhile. However, we recommend comparing this to other technology investments you're considering.
Will DentaMAR work with my current practice software?
- Yes. DentaMAR is designed to integrate with existing systems like Dentrix, Overjet, and Pearl rather than replace them. Think of it as 'the gums that connect all your teeth' rather than another competing system.
How much staff training is required?
- The program will start with mandatory one-on-one onboarding sessions with Mateo Chang and high-touch personal support.
- During the first six months, the focus will be working directly with dentists to ensure the app is fluid, intuitive, and requires minimal training or onboarding.
- Dentist feedback on real use will guide us in designing the app so that it is easy for staff to adopt and use confidently, with as little extra training as possible.
- Specific staff training timeframes are not detailed in the documents, but the overall goal is to make the app simple for everyone in the practice to use from the start.
When will the advanced features be available?
- The first six months will feel similar to the current MAR 2.0 system while advanced AI features are developed.
- Main features are planned to rollout with DentaMAR's public launch.
- P&L integration is planned for Year 3.
- As an Early Adopter, your feedback will directly influence which features are prioritized.
What makes Early Adopters special?
- Only 75 Early Adopters will receive 100 Crowns each (out of 7,500 total that will ever exist). You get lifetime pricing at $600/month versus $900/month for future subscribers, plus direct input into product development.
How does the vesting schedule work?
- Your 100 Crowns vest over 4 years: 25% in Year 1, 50% in Year 2, 75% in Year 3, and 100% in Year 4.
- You must maintain your subscription for Crowns to continue vesting.
Can I transfer my Crowns to someone else?
- Yes, but only to licensed dental professionals in specific situations like retirement, practice sale, death, or disability. The transfer must be approved by DentaMAR and the new person must continue the subscription.
When can I sign up?
- Waitlist Enrollment opens on September 18th at 10:00 PM EST and closes on September 28th at 10:00 PM EST, for a total of exactly 10 days. After this period, associates, coaches, and alumni will be contacted directly if spots are available.
- The first two weeks of October will focus on sign-on and starting DentaMAR subscriptions.
What if I'm not ready to decide right now?
- You're not signing a contract immediately. The enrollment puts you on a waitlist. You have exactly 10 days to decide after enrollment opens, and must mark either 'I'm in' or 'I'm out' with a timestamp.
- If neither option is selected, DentaMAR will automatically consider your interest withdrawn by default.
- Enrollment will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis according to each participant’s waitlist timestamp.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- You must be a licensed dental professional in good standing in the United States, maintain professional liability insurance, and comply with professional ethical standards.
- DentaMAR will monitor state dental board databases for compliance.
What legal protections do I have?
- The Crown Rewards Program is structured as a marketing loyalty program, not an investment, and is fully separate from any investment or equity arrangement. As a participant, all rights under consumer protection laws are preserved, and comprehensive dispute resolution procedures—including formal appeals—are in place specifically for the program. If any issue remains unresolved, participants retain the right to seek further resolution through Delaware state courts. DentaMAR also maintains strict legal compliance and user protections across the entire platform, ensuring professional standards, privacy, and fair dealing at every stage.
Can DentaMAR change the program terms?
- Yes, but with 60 days written notice, and your existing vested Crown rights remain protected. We cannot adversely affect your vested benefits or reasonable expectations from your enrollment terms.
What about taxes on Crown rewards?
- Annual Crown Gifts may constitute taxable income. DentaMAR will provide appropriate tax forms, but you're responsible for proper tax reporting. Consult with your tax professional about the implications.
